Thanksgiving 2008

We had a great dinner. Judy had everyone to her house for dinner. We were in charge, well David was, of mashed potatoes and creamed baby onions. The potatoes were great. Of course i married a good cook. Didn't try the onions as i don't like onions. But they smelled great and everyone loved them. My mom made my chocolate pie. I don't know how she does it but i swear it gets better every year. She's been making it for as long as i can remember. She made on for me and one for dinner. Louissa came into town for Thanksgiving and got to have fun with James and once Cole got over being shy, had a good time with her. We don't get to see her much since she lives in Seattle. James really liked his auntie. He'll be running the next time she gets to come out. She asked what the boys needed for Christmas and i said clothes. She got all excited and they went out Friday and bought the boys clothes for Christmas. Can't wait to see!

Now a funny story. Mom will love that i am sharing. Mom, aka Nana, bit James. It was one of those weird accidents. He's fine though. She was getting ready to say something to me and as her mouth opened he stuck his hand in there as she was closing it. So he got bit. I think he's forgotten by now. Now to make mom feel better. I conked his head coming around the corner to the living room. He leaned out as i was making the corner. Not hard and it didn't faze him. He's pretty forgiving!
