James had his 6 month check up on Friday. He weighs a whopping 19lbs 2oz!! Cole was 19lbs even on his 1 year check up. James in 27 inches long. Dr was impressed with him. Before he checked James he asked me if he was starting to cut any teeth. I laughed and said he's already got 2 bottoms. He was impressed with that as well. Then asked if he was starting to sit unassisted at all and i said he's been doing that for a month. Again was impressed. He was just an impressive baby Friday. Cole went with me and i kept explaining to him that James would get shots and cry. Cole said i don't want him to get poked. He'll get sick. I said no, the shots will help him not to get sick. So James got stuck 4 times. Cried. A lot. Cole was very concerned but was OK when James calmed down 2 seconds later. He has to go back in a month for a follow up flu shot. I figured not knowing what Cole could bring home from day care and what the rest of us could bring home from work it probably wouldn't hurt for him to have the flu shot. James slept great that night. out at 9:00 them up at 7:30. I kept waking up about every 20 min starting at 4:30 when he usually wakes me up. I finally got to see him roll over Sunday. I'd heard he could but never saw it. I guess it's tough getting that 19lb body over! LOL! I think it's all in his thighs. I had him sitting on the exam table and it has that papery plastic that covers the table. James just attacked it. It was all slobbed up. I couldn't get it away from him. I laughed so hard. He just kept frantically grabbing it and stuffing it in his mouth. Dr thought it was funny. He was happy because that meant he was grabbing for stuff. I knew that already, he's got a 10 foot reach on both arms.
