We managed to pull off Easter dinner at the last minute. We hadn't planned on it but we did it. Well David did most of it. I made fruit salad and put the ham in the oven. Hard stuff. We had both our parents over and the boys were complete hams!! So we had 3 hams for dinner! Cole was jumping around being a goof and James was showing off his walking skills. He's doing well. Scarily well for 10 1/2 months old. James love munching on the red bell peppers cut up in the veggie tray. The Easter bunny brought the boys small Easter baskets. We don't make it a huge deal, just a little something. Easter bunny was slacking a bit and hid the eggs later when Cole was pouting in his room. It was fun having him find them. It's a lot of fun now that he's getting older and "gets it" with holidays. I'll have to plan better next year. I'll post pics soon. They are pretty back lit. Need to learn my new camera more. There are all different kinds of settings for it.
Saturday I dyed Easter eggs with Cole. I had him hand me the eggs and had him choose what color to put them in. Then I placed them in the dye and we watched them turn colors. Then he got bored and wandered off. Guess it wasn't as "egg-citing" for him. Sorry..couldn't resist.
