MIA

It's been awhile since i last posted. Just been so busy with work and home. Lets see. Cole Starts swim lessons again on July 6th. He went on his first field trip today from day care. I had no idea. Didn't pay attention to the flier they had hung up. Most field trips are for the older kids so i don't read them. The gal asked if Cole was going and if i saw the flier. I felt so bad! I signed the permission slip and luckily had a dollar for it. They were going down to a Sno Cone shack. I know not the most exciting place in the world but i know he'll love it. Getting the ride the little bus and go somewhere with his friends. I am getting over a sinus infection. Had a Cole a couple of weeks ago and it turned into a sinus infection. Went to the walk in place Saturday and the dr was a total butt head! But got antibiotics and am feeling better. Sunday we went to the zoo. David said i needed oxygen and sun and not be a lump on the couch. I was miserable with my sinus infection. So i went. I did end up feeling better but i won't admit that to David! The boys had a great time. I took lots of pics and hope to get them up sometime. It was James' first trip. Cole's second. they have done some great improvements and new exhibits. The had a Carousel and the boys took turns riding it. I had to go to since they were both under the height line. They crashed on the way home. We walked around for 2-3 hours and it was pretty warm too. Had lunch there and it was a fortune to eat there! Then on the way home my van died. David jinxed it when he opened his big mouth on the way to the zoo. Driving along the connector he says this is when the van will hemorrhage. Well it did it on the way home. turning into the subdivision. Transmission is going. Took me 5 tries to get out of the drive way Monday morning. Then at day care i put it in park and it kept rolling. Thankfully the E-Brake held. So yesterday and today i have been driving my mother in laws van. Probably tomorrow too until David can get my jeep insured and everything done on to make it drivable. I'll talk about the Jeep another time. :) So now it seems like everyone on the streets are driving like maniacs since I'm not in my own car! David has been scrambling now to get the jeep together. Was supposed to be a couple of weeks. Oh well. I celebrated 5 years at my job with Blue Cross of Idaho on June 28th. Got recognized at our floor meeting, got $125 Master card gift card and then taken to lunch with others who had big anniversaries that quarter. I'll get a cake next week. I joined the Twilight Cult and started reading the series last week. I just started book 3. Found the first one for $4 at Savers and had been curious about it since everyone raves about it. Well i couldn't put the book down! I had $42 in Barne's and Noble gift cards and was able to get the next 2 books in the series. There are 2 more after them. Plus now i want to see the movie. It was so nice to read a grown up book for a change but i think they are considered young adult/teen books. Still good though! I don't know what I'm going to do when i finish book 3! Go crazy til i can get the next one i suppose. I think that's all that's been going on here. Nothing too exciting!
