We got our first note home from "school". His day care has a pre-school program for all 4 year olds. He's not wanting to do the work or try it. He keeps saying I can't or i don't want to. His teacher is a bit frustrated because he's smart and knows all the stuff, it's just getting him to do it. So they are going to keep trying but are thinking he may not be ready. I think so too. He doesn't turn 4 until end of December. He might be better waiting til next year. I hope he can stay in though because I'd like him to get an early start on learning everything and not be behind all his friends. He's just stubborn i think. Doesn't like being told what to do, not unlike his mom. I just don't want him to be like me in school. I knew the stuff but hated doing the work so my grades always suffered. I hope this isn't a glimpse into the future of battles yet to come over school work. Hopefully we can over come this hurtle.
He got new Cowboy Boots from Grandma. She found them at a swap meet over the weekend. He loves them and of course wore them to bed last night.
