"The kids screaming, phone ringing Dog barking at the mailman bringing That stack of bills - overdue. Good morning baby how are you...Well, it's ok. It's so nice It's just another day in paradise. Well, there's no place that I'd rather be. Well, it's two hearts And one dream I wouldn't trade it for anything And I ask the Lord every night For just another day in paradise" Phil Vassar-"Another Day in Paradis

My Big One Year Old
James is now a big one year old. What can James do at one. He weighs 22lbs 13oz and is 29 ½ inches long. He runs through the house. Does a play fall now and goes “oh” or “oops” when he does it. Then gets up and does it again. He says, uh-oh when he drops stuff, Mama, Dada, Bye bye and has a cute wave, says, hat, puts his hand on the oven door and says hot, says that. Points to what he wants, holds his toy phone to his ear and says hello, says and plays peek a boo. That is my favorite. He loves his sippy cup and drinks well from one. He faces forward in the car now like a big boy. He feeds himself pretty well with his hands. Eats quite a bit and this week learned he likes fish sticks and grilled cheese sandwich. He loves the Gerber Graduates Little Crunchies. Those are so cool. He understands now that when we put his shoes on it means we are going somewhere. He actually put his foot up for me the other day. He loves music and dances. I call him my Boogie Boy! I think he tries to hum or sing. Only heard it a couple of times. He’s showing signs of being a good tantrum thrower already. He has a pretty good temper too. He is a funny little guy. So opposite of Cole. Cole was pretty mellow while James is my Holy Terror. It had been a great year! I love you little man!
